FLOW (N.V.)
Old English flowan "to flow, stream, issue; become liquid, melt; abound, overflow" (class VII strong verb; past tense fleow, past participle flowen), from Proto-Germanic *flowan "to flow" (source also of Middle Dutch vloyen, Dutch vloeien, vloeijen "to flow," Old Norse floa "to deluge," Old High German flouwen "to rinse, wash"), from PIE root *pleu- "to flow." - etyonline.com
Flow is a state of mind. A state of mind where a camera is simply a tool. A tool that does not create emotion but acts as a conduit. A conduit for the energy and aura of who is present in a moment. A moment of meditative therapy. A therapy session where a camera is both the Pen, the Notebook. The Couch Is the space where a photographer and subject are both, therapist and patient. Interacting in an environment that wouldn’t dare to succumb to pressure. A relationship where both are learning from a moment, learning how to be, learning how to interpret each other’s body language. Flow is trust. Flow is so.
Flow fundamentally exists by itself but most importantly from the absence of hesitation.
